Faith, friendship and service since 1835
Our MissionOur St. Thomas' family welcomes all
to follow Christ,
to serve others,
and to spread his light and love.
It is in serving him that we delight in God's will.
St. Thomas’ Church is a warm, welcoming gathering of people seeking to grow in openness to God, each other and the needs of the world as disciples of Jesus. We are part of the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut. If you are planning to visit St. Thomas’ for the first time, you’ll find helpful information on our welcome page.
St. Thomas’ seeks to share the extravagant hospitality offered to all by God. At St. Thomas’ you are welcome “as is” – including your doubts, hurts and needs for healing. We are all “works in progress,” and we support each other on our journey.
While rooted in ancient tradition, St. Thomas’ seeks to embody a vibrant, growing faith that lives creatively with questions rather than imposing rigid answers (we’re named after the apostle who doubted the Easter story, after all). We recognize that, in the end, our words about God point to the loving Mystery beyond words.
Meanwhile, folks at St. Thomas’ take care of each other, reach out to our community, and have a lot of fun. We pray for each other and deliver meals in tough times, celebrate the good times, and at all times enjoy getting together. Whether it’s helping to judge a soup cook-off, planning a Cinco de Mayo auction, or helping out in St. Thomas' Food Pantry , you can find a place to feel right at home.
We look forward to meeting you.
